Error: "Method not found: '!!0[] System.Array.Empty()'

Make sure you know what you're doing and are using one of the products listed. If you're not sure, ask your IT professional or MYOB.

What you need to know:

The ATO is decommissioning AUSkey on 27 March 2020. See AUSkey decommissioning on the ATO website for more details.

• If you’re using Lodgment Manager to lodge, you don’t need to do anything.
• If you're using AUSkey Authentication to lodge, you can’t lodge after 27 March 2020. Talk to your client manager about how to upgrade your practice.

In MYOB Tax version 2016.3 you may experience the error "Method not found: '!!0[] System.Array.Empty()'." when attempting to:

• Lodge via AUSKey or
• Start the MYOB Tax SBR Sender Server Service (CloudAuth only).

This error occurs where .NET 4.6.2 is not installed on both the server hosting MYOB and workstations:

To resolve this error ensure that .NET 4.6.2 is installed by performing a MYOB workstation setup.

If you continue to experience the error after running a workstation installation, please consult your IT professional to install .NET 4.6.2 manually from Microsoft's website.
