Make sure you know what you're doing and are using one of the products listed. If you're not sure, ask your IT professional or MYOB.
In MYOB Accountants Office (MYOB AO), you may experience the error "Registration is not successfully installed - Install cannot continue" when installing MYOB AO.
This error can occur for numerous reasons, such as:
Registration key not defined or created in registry.
Existing registration was found but is corrupted.
Another unexpected error occurred.
The registration must be repaired or reinstalled before the MYOB AO installer can proceed.
To determine the cause the issue, it is best to review the MYOBACCT Server Detailed Log located in C:\Program Files (x86)\MYOB\MYOBACCT\INSTALL on the server. Scrolling to the bottom of the log file should reveal in plain text what the error is. For example, "Registration key not found."
If the registration key is missing, this will indicate that something is blocking the installer from writing to the Windows Registry correctly. This is commonly caused by Anti-virus software and/or User Account Controls (UAC). See Disabling User Account Control (UAC).
You may need to delete or rename the licence files. See Error: "Licence File in install modeError: "Licence File in install mode cannot be the same as the live licence file"
