In MYOB Tax, a locked tax return indicates that the return has already been exported but not re-imported back into the tax database. The lock is activated upon exporting to ensure the integrity of the return is maintained until it is re-imported with any changes made.
If you experience this error message when exporting a return, you need to unlock the return first in order to perform the export.
