This support note applies to:

Article ID: 36301

In MYOB Accountants Office (AO) and Accountants Enterprise (AE) Tax the 85% Lodgment Benchmark function was released in Tax 2013.  To ensure that this feature is effective, you need to ensure that all tax clients in your database have the following details:

  • An assigned Tax Agent in the Return Properties and
  • Lodgment Due Date.

These instructions will guide you to the solutions and processes required to achieve this.

MYOB AO Tax users: This feature will only display the data contain in MYOB AO Tax and will not include the data of returns completed in AO Classic. However, this process will be accurately managed by MYOB AO Tax for the 2014 Tax Agents Lodgment Program and onwards.

Assigning a Tax Agent

Prior to any tax return being processed the tax agent needs to be assigned and should appear in the tax return properties in the Staff tab.  Please use the appropriate process to assign a Tax Agent.

If a Tax Agent Reference number is blank in MYOB Tax the Lodgment Benchmark homepage will display no data.

Lodgment Due Date

PLS Reports

You can now request for agent reports in PLS. You'll need to be on Tax version 2018.1 or higher. See Working with PLS after ELS has shut down and Agent Reports homepage for more information.

See Lodgment Benchmark for more information.
