How do I remove an asset from a pool that has been pooled in a previous year?

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Assets (AE Assets) if you have incorrectly pooled an asset in a previous year, you are not able to remove that asset from the pool in the current year. 

If you have identified an incorrectly pooled an asset in a previous year

  1. Restore the previous year back of the AE Assets ledger (AST);

  2. Correct the data entry error in the previous AE Assets ledger (AST);

  3. Backup the AE Assets ledger (AST);

  4. Rollover the AE Assets ledger (AST) file to the current year.

    If you do not have a backup of the previous year AST ledger to restore, you will need to export the current year Assets report and manually adjust the balances to reflect the correct values.
