Rolling over Tax Tracking for the new year

At the beginning of the each financial year, you'll need to create a new MYOB AE Tax Tracking ledger.

When creating a new Tax Tracking ledger, you're given the option to roll forward the steps from the prior year.

To roll over Tax Tracking
  1. Open Identifying the location of System Release and log in using the following credentials:

    User nameSUPERVIS
    PasswordS6
  2. From Administration in the Task panel, click Folders. A list of folders appear.
  3. Double-click on the Ledgers folder to open.
  4. Double-click on the Tax Tracking ledger to open. The Event Browser window appears.
  5. Click the File menu and choose New.
  6. In the Event field, type TAxx then press [TAB] on the keyboard.

    Where xx is the new financial year. For example, enter TA18 for the 2018 year or, TA19 for the 2019 year.

    The message "Copy from previous Event?" appears.

  7. Click Yes.

  8. In the Date field, enter the start date of the financial year (example: for the 2019 year, enter 01/07/2019), then press [TAB].
  9. In the Description field, enter the description of the event and click OK. The Event Properties window appears.
  10. Press [Esc] on the keyboard. Tax Tracking is rolled over to the new year and you're returned to the the Event Browser.
