Item 25 - Reportable tax position

Only complete this item if you have been notified in writing by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) that you are required to lodge a Reportable tax position schedule in 2018.

To complete this item:

Select Yes from the dropdown list at label B if you have been notified in writing by the ATO that you are required to lodge a reportable tax position schedule in 2018.

ATO instructions say that the Reportable tax position schedule 2018 or the Reportable tax position early disclosure form 2018 are not available to be lodged via PLS in 2018 and should be completed online at www.ato.gov.au. The ATO advises that these forms may be saved to your computer and then printed.

If you or your client has MYOB Account Right, then the RTP report can be prepared and lodged from that software.
