Control Record Setup

The Control Record details is used in other areas in Central Database. To do this click Utilities > Control Record and complete the fields accordingly. The information recorded includes:
Integrated Ledgers
Enter the client codes of the Tax ledgers that will integrate with Central Database.
CT: This field has been made available for the Central Treasury product. Enter the client code of the Central Treasury ledger that will integrate with Central Database.
Other1 and Other2 and Type: These two pairs of fields provide for further ledgers integrated to Central Database to be identified. For instance, New Zealand clients have the opportunity to identify a ledger and select the Type NT. The Type CT only appears in this picklist if a licence for Central Treasury is current.
Default Layouts
Layout | Code | Description |

Labels layout | 1LABEL | This is the default layout used by Central Database when Print Labels is selected. This layout will print 1 label across the page. If 2 labels are required across the page you can change the default layout to 2LABEL, likewise if 3 labels are required you can change the default to 3LABEL. |
List layout | LSTCLD | This is the default layout used by Central Database when Detailed Listing is selected. If you have created your own layout, the default can be changed. |
Reports layout | CLIREP | This is the default layout used by Central Database when Client Report is selected. If you have created your own layout, the default can be changed. |
Letters layout | EXLETTER | This is the default layout used by Central Database when Print Letters is selected. If a different layout is required, the default layout can be changed. |
Address | POSTAL | This is the default address used when printing letters or labels. If an address other than the default is selected during the print process, (that is, address type ALTERNATE), and the address type does not exist for some of your contacts, the default address specified will be used rather than leaving blank lines where the address should be. |
