Returns Due For Lodgment
For AE and Series 6 & 8, to nominate the Returns Due for Lodgment homepage as your default view each time you open Practice Manager (version 5.4.3 or later), refer to To set the Tax Returns due for Lodgment as your default view.
The Returns Due for Lodgment homepage is opened from the Tax button menu.

Returns Due for Lodgment uses the due date from the Return Properties PAYG/Lodge tab. Refer to PAYG/Lodge tab for details.
Until an alternative selection is made the Tax Returns Due for Lodgment lists returns due within 30 days for the employee who is currently logged on.
The table of returns has these columns:
Symbols — refer to Symbols used for the client tax returns for more information.
Return Name — click the Return Name to open the return in Tax.
Client Code — click the Client Code to open the Client Main page.
Status — the current status of the return. Refer to Status Levels for details.
TFN — the Tax File Number on the return.
Form Type — the type of income tax return.
Date Due — the date the return is due to be lodged. This date is set in the Return Properties.
Days Due — the number of days before the return is due to be lodged. For an overdue return, the number of the days appears in brackets () in red.
Completed — the date on which the return was marked as complete. To mark a return complete you need to validate it and if valid select Complete.
Partner — the code for the partner assigned to the client return.
Manager — the code for the manager assigned to the client return.
Employee — the code for the employee assigned to the client return.
Agent — the Tax Agent Number assigned to the client return.
Not required — ‘not required’ will appear according to the setting on the Return Properties PAYG/Lodge tab for Return required. This field is set by lodging a Client Update form or using the Update return not required task in the Tasks bar.
Client closed — ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ will appear according to the client’s status in PM/AO. This is intended to help you identify those clients you will not be lodging a return for so that you are able to lodge a CU and update the Return Properties.

Filtering Examples
Examples of filtering options applied from the right click menu to restrict the returns listed include:
returns assigned to you as an employee for the current year — Right click on the table and select Employee, Range > All and Current Year on the menu.
returns assigned to as a partner that are due in 30 days — Right click on the table and select Partner, Range > Due in 30 Days and Current Year on the menu.
returns for the practice for the current year — Right click on the table and select Practice, Range > All and Current Year on the menu.
