Exporting reports from Report Preview

The Report Preview window menu bar includes an Export menu option. Reports enables you to export to Microsoft Excel, PDF or HTML format.

To export reports

Ensure you are in the Report Preview window. See Running reports.
Click Export. This is located on the Report Preview main menu.
Select the export format. The Save As window opens.

The save location defaults to the folder you last used. You can choose another location if you want.
Enter a file name for the export file.

Accept the default file extension—this ensures that the export file can be opened by the appropriate application.
Click Save. The Export Report window confirms that the export is complete. The exported file can now be opened from the appropriate application. You can export data to Microsoft Excel without formatting using Export to Excel on the Create Report window.
