The page footer enables you to insert data, text or images in the footer area of each page within a report. You can use the Properties area in the Report Designer page to adjust the properties, apply formatting, etc.
The page footer may be used to insert page totals in a report. It is also typically used to apply page numbers to a report. To do this use the SummaryType property in the Properties area of the Report Designer page.
To edit default page numbers
-
Open the Reports Designer page for the report you want to edit. See Opening reports for advanced formatting or editing.
-
Use the scroll bar to locate the existing page number in the Page Footer area.
It has a default name of TextBox4, but it is identifiable because its SummaryType property in the Properties area displays as 'PageCount'.

Close the Report Designer page. A Save Changes message is displayed.
-
Click Yes to close the Save Changes message and save your layout. The Save Template window opens.
