Using Job Manager

The Job Manager is designed to assist you maintain and manage jobs and deadlines. It is a deadline management tool which enables you to track the progress of jobs using specified milestones. A job is work delegated to an individual and managed on a practice basis. This type of work is often discussed at weekly team WIP meetings.

The Job Manager can be used to performed a number of tasks:

• Setting Job Manager security permissions

• Adding calculated columns for KPIs on the Job Sheet homepage

• Milestones on the Job Sheet homepages

• Adding job and assignment details

• (AE) Adding job and schedule details (AE)

• Sorting, grouping and filtering jobs or schedules

• Rolling forward jobs

• Set or remove the target date for a job

• Exporting data to Microsoft Excel

• Copying and pasting Job Sheet data

• (AE) Creating timesheets from the Job Sheet homepage

• Assigning/reassigning bulk updates

• (AO) Adding notes to jobs
