Error: "DMFile.SentNewEmail OutlookApplicationHelper.SentNewEmail Library not registered"

This support note applies to:

In MYOB Document Manager (DM) if you have recently updated your operating system or version of MS Office, when sending an email using Document Manager you may experience the following error:

"DMFile.SentNewEmail OutlookApplicationHelper.SentNewEmail Library not registered.
(Exception from HRESULT: 0x8002801D (TYPE_E_LIBNOTREGISTERED))"

This error occurs due to incorrect Windows registry keys.

To fix the issue
  1. Uninstall and reinstall all versions of MS Office on the workstation using the Easy Fix Tool.
    For instructions refer to MS Article: Uninstall Office 2016, Office 2013, or Office 365 from a PC
  2. Uninstall and reinstall MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) or Accountants Office (AO)
