The Workpapers homepage lists all your workpapers periods currently in progress across all your clients.
The Workpapers homepage provides these features:
Task permission security to restrict access to this homepage. See Security and task permissions for Client Accounting
You can customise the homepage view using the Field Chooser menu.
You can group your data by any field in the homepage.
You can initiate tasks using the hyperlinks in the Tasks bar or from the Menu system.
Click Workpapers on the toolbar to open the homepage.
- Click the Workpapers icon on the toolbar to open the homepage.
- From the Field chooser drag Outstanding ToDos onto the homepage grid.
- Click Outstanding ToDos to open the relevant ToDo list for that client. All functionality to add and update the To Do list is available. Changes made on the To Do list are reflected on the Workpapers homepage immediately.
- Select the checkbox for required entries and:
- Select Export to Excel icon .
- Select the Print icon .

Features and Description
Select the checkbox for each entry to be included in the data exported to an excel spreadsheet or to be printed.
Each Client name identifies a client who has at least one In-progress workpaper within the date range. Each client may have more than one entry in the grid. A client with no In Progress workpaper periods will not appear on the homepage
Click on the client name to the Workpaper period for the client.
This can be added to the grid from the Field chooser.
All Workpaper periods that are ‘In Progress’ or ‘Not started’ are included in the grid.
Period start date
The date on which the workpaper period starts.
Period end date
The date on which the workpaper period ends.
No. of workpapers
The number of workpapers including the number of linked documents.
The number of workpapers which have In Progress status.
The number of workpapers awaiting approval.
The number of workpapers requiring rework.
The number of workpapers approved.
The Field chooser allows you to add the Outstanding ToDos field to the homepage grid. By clicking Outstanding ToDos listed in the grid you will open the relevant ToDo list.
All functionality to add and update the ToDo list for your client is available. Changes made on the ToDo list are reflected on the Workpapers homepage immediately.
Partner, Office, Department, Company
The Field chooser allows you to add Partner, Office, Department, Company to the grid. This identifies the assigned Partner, Office, Department, Company as entered in the Responsibilities tab for this client.
(AE) Manager, Employee
The Field chooser allows you to add Manager and Employee to the grid as identified in the Responsibilities tab for the client.
If you have created additional responsibility types these will also be included in the Field chooser.
The Field chooser allows you to add Year to the homepage. This is the year of workpaper.
The Field chooser allows you to add Family Group to the homepage. This is as entered on client Main page.
