Main menu

The main menu is located at the top of the PDF Manager window. It contains the following selections:

File menu

Some options will not be available on the File menu until a document is opened.

Menu selection	Action
Import document…	The Open window opens enabling you to select a previously saved PDF/Microsoft Word/Microsoft Excel/Microsoft PowerPoint document to add to the Source Documents tab.
Scan document…	The Select Source window opens enabling you to select the device from which to produce the PDF and add to the Source Documents tab.
Save…	The Save PDF window opens enabling you to save the selected pages into a new PDF. You can password protect your PDF.
Save With…	The Save With window opens enabling you to save the selected pages into your practice management system.
Print…	The Print window opens enabling you to print the selected pages to your printer.
Preview PDF…	Opens the selected pages in your PDF viewer, for example, Adobe Acrobat.
Watermark…	The Watermark Settings window opens enabling you to apply or remove a watermark on the current PDF file.
Email…	The Email PDF As An Attachment window opens enabling you to specify options to email the current PDF file.
Close…	Closes PDF Manager. PDF Manager remains running in the system tray.

Edit menu

Options will not available on the Edit menu until a document is opened.

Menu selection	Action
Select all documents	Selects all the documents in the Source Documents tab.
De-select all documents	De-selects all the documents in the Source Documents tab.
Select all pages	Selects all pages in the selected document in the Source Documents tab.
De-select all pages	De-selects all pages in the selected document in the Source Documents tab.
Delete document	Deletes the selected document in the Source Documents tab.
Delete all documents	Deletes all the documents in the Source Documents tab.

View menu

Some options will not be available on the View menu until a document is opened.

Menu selection	Action
Show/Hide PDF preview bar	Shows or hides the PDF Preview Bar.
Selected page in external viewer	Opens the selected page in your PDF viewer, for example, Adobe Reader.
Selected document in external viewer	Opens the selected document in your PDF viewer, for example, Adobe Reader.
Collapse all documents	Collapses all pages in documents in the Source Documents tab to display only the document file name.
Expand all documents	Expands all pages in documents in the Source Documents tab.

Tools menu

The Tools menu includes only one entry, Options, which contains six tabs.

Tab	Action
General	The General tab window enables you to: automatically generate preview images of each PDF page. move saved documents to the PDF Manager recycle bin. set, adjust and retain PDF preview quality. save with your MYOB application. set your current settings as the template on this computer.
Save With Settings	Save With Settings enables you to select, define and save appropriate settings for each of the MYOB applications that are to be integrated with PDF Manager.
Template	The Template tab enables you to make default settings for all new users who log on to this computer.
Scan Options	Scan options enables you to: apply clean-and-straighten image processing settings during scanning. select any of the four PDF-quality scanning settings. define and save your own set of custom preferences to best suit your practice’s quality versus speed requirements.
Watchfolder	The Watchfolder settings tab is where you: specify the folder on this user’s system which PDF Manager will constantly monitor for new documents to process. specify the time intervals between imports from the Watchfolder.
Security Options	Security Options settings are used to: set one of three encryption levels (None, High and Low). set varying permissions and printing options, depending on the selected encryption level.

MYOB PDF Manager Help [F1]

Opens the online help file and its PDF version.

License MYOB PDF Manager…

Opens the License MYOB PDF Manager, enabling you to select a licence file or contact MYOB Support quoting the serial number to receive a licence file.

About MYOB PDF Manager…

Opens the PDF Manager splash window displaying the version of PDF Manager that is running.

You can also open System Info… and review your PDF Manager setup and system details.
