Basic report formatting and editing

The Report fields and formatting tab enables you to produce plain multi-column reports that use default headers and footers.

These basic formatting tools are used to quickly and easily design, format and run basic reports.

In AE, if you need to design or change more intricate reports, use the Report Designer window, as described in Advanced report formatting and editing.

Tasks you can do in the Report fields and formatting tab:

• Creating reports with basic formatting

• Opening basic format reports for editing and reformatting

• Editing fonts, alignment and column width

• Adding and deleting report columns

• Editing column header or column footer text

• Re-ordering report columns

• Adding totals to reports

• Running reports.
