For integration to work correctly, AE Tax Classic clients must complete details in the following three tabs, accessed from Maintenance > AE Tax > Settings:
Enter the details of the:
Tax database name.
SQL server name.
login details that you will use when accessing the data.
Click Test to confirm that the details have been entered successfully.
System Services tab
location of the SOL64 directory.
name of the Tax ledger (the ledger code).
Select the method to be used to log in to System Services here.
Select the Windows User option to log users in using their network login names.
Select the Employee Code option to log users in using their Employee code from Practice Manager. If you select this option, ensure that each Employee user code in Practice Manager matches a user code in System Services.
