2015 Compilation Report is missing the APES 110 Code of Ethics line

This support note applies to:

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Reporter (AE Reporter) version 3.4.4, in the Reporter Year 2015 when generating the Compilation Report it is missing the line referencing the APES 110 Code of Ethics for all entity types.

This statement is "We have complied with the relevant ethical requirements of APES 110 Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants.".

MYOB has addressed this issue in MYOB AE Reporter, Version 3.4.5. Please refer to the my.MYOB Product Downloads page, Australia to download the latest release.

WORKAROUND PRIOR TO FIX:

To ensure this report displays and prints correctly, you will need to customise the format of the Compilation Reports and insert this line of text into the required cell.

The following instructions are for both Accounts and MAS users and will step you through this process.

Accessing the Practice Report Designer

Note:  Please ensure that you access Year 2015.

Amending the Report Format

Perform the following instructions from within the Practice Reporter Designer window:

1. Click the Formats tab. The list of formats appears in the left hand pane. Note:  The Formats tab is located at the bottom left side of the Practice Report Designer window. IMPORTANT!  The following table will assist you in selecting the correct report format and editing the correct cell.  Please ensure that you edit the cell that is relevant to whether you use Accounts or MAS.

2. Double click the required Compilation Report format. The report format opens in the right hand pane.
3. Navigate to the required cell number. The contents of the cell displays.
4. In the cell type "We have complied with the relevant ethical requirements of APES 110 Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants.". The missing text is inserted.
5. Click Save. The amended format is saved.
6. Click Close. The format closes.
