In MYOB the following error "Execute MailMerge errors: These columns don't currently have unique values" appears when creating a document under a client that appears twice in the Find Clients screen.

To resolve this issue, you will need to check if there are multiple open partners (i.e. multiple partners without an end date specified). If multiple open partners exist, you will need to edit the partner details and insert an end date to ensure that only one open partner exists on each client.

For more details refer to Adding a partner to a client

Ensure that you enter end dates for all previous partners, making sure that the end date does not overlap with the start date of the current partner.

Find other clients that have multiple partners

If you want to know what other clients may have multiple open partners, you can use the Client Partner Check report.

  1. Click the Reports icons. The Reports tab opens.

  2. From the Tasks panel in the Client section select Client partner check.
  3. The Client - Client Partner Check report selection appears.

  4. Double click the Client Partner Check report. The report displays.

You will now see a list of clients with multiple open partners.

After entering an end date to all previous partners, when you go back to the find clients screen, the client will appear only once and the error messages will no longer appear when creating letters.
