Error: "Ledger not found in the referenced folder" installing Tax or opening a Tax return

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) or Accountants Office (AO) Tax you may experience the error "Ledger not found in the referenced folder" in the following situations:

  • Installing or updating Tax and/or

  • Opening a Tax return.

This error may occur if the template or ledger for the tax year in question is not added into the system correctly. To fix this issue refer to Error: "Application Template not found"
