Error: "The return has been previously submitted for lodgment"

In MYOB Tax you may experience the error "The return has been previously submitted for lodgment" when attempting to lodge a return via PLS using CloudAuth.

This error indicates that the selected return already exists in the PLS tracking table has already been successfully lodged.

If a return is marked lodged and accepted in lodgment manager, please avoid changing it to not lodged inside MYOB Tax. Contact us and quote KB 38602 to fix the error.

To fix the error:

As the return is marked as lodged in the tracking table yet is now set to Ready to lodge the client will be unable to get this return set to Lodged in lodgment manager whilst that pre-existing record exists with a StatusId of 6 or 7. Please change the StatusId to 9 for this returns Fileid entry in the database. E.g.

update TaxSbrSender_ElsLodgementTracking
Set StatusId='9'
where FileId='11'
Now you will be able to lodge the return again to re-run the EPCUpdateStatus.
