Error: "PLS windows service not responding" on a workstation

This support note applies to:

In MYOB Tax if you are using PLS (CloudAuth) to lodge returns you may experience the error "PLS window service is not responding" on a workstation even though the server shows that it is working.

To resolve this issue check the date/time on your workstations and the server is correct and matches the actual date and time.
