Exporting financial reports from General Ledger to Word

You can export a financial report from AO Classic General Ledger to Word from the print preview window by selecting the Send to Microsoft Word icon.

To export financial reports to Microsoft Word

  1. In the client's general ledger, from the Reports menu select Print Financial Reports.

  2. Complete the steps of the wizard and then go to the final step; click Print to generate a preview of the report.

  3. Click the Send to Word icon on the preview window.

  4. Save the file to a location on your hard drive and click Save.

The file format is .RTF, which is Rich Text Format. You can then use Microsoft Word to open the file.
