Error: "MYOB AE Reporter Launcher has stopped working" when exporting PDF file

When exporting to PDF for the first time on a workstation from MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) Reporter, you may experience problems with the PDF file being generated.  You may experience an error such as "MYOB AE Reporter Launcher has stopped working".
To successfully export to PDF, you need to associate the Export with Email process with the PDF format first.

MYOB has addressed this issue in MYOB AE Reporter 3.4. Please refer to the my.MYOB Product Downloads page, Australia or New Zealand to download the latest release.

To associate the Export with Email process with the PDF format
  1. On the affected workstation preview the required report to screen. The report is displayed.
  2. Click the Email Report icon at the top of the screen. The Email Report as an Attachment window opens.
  3. Enter a File Name and select Adobe PDF Files (*.pdf) in the File Type field and click Email. The email with the file attached opens.
  4. Close the email. The email is closed and you can now export any report to PDF format from that workstation.
