Error: "Value does not fall within the expected range" when opening PDF Documents

This support note applies to:

• Workpapers (NZ)
• AO Workpapers (AU)
• AE Workpapers (AU)

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) and Accountants Office (AO) Workpapers, you may experience the error "Value does not fall within the expected range" when opening PDF documents or documents linked to Document Manager (DM).  You may also experience PDF documents not opening when selected from Workpapers.

This can occur if you are using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.  To rectify these situations, remove the "Enable Protected Mode at Startup" option in Adobe Reader.
