Creating a fixed asset in the asset ledger

In MYOB Accountants Office Classic, you may need to create a fixed asset in the asset ledger.
- Go to the client's general ledger and click Asset Ledger. The Fixed Assets window appears.
- Press F4 on your keyboard, in the New fields, enter the asset number and name.
- In New Type, select Asset.
Press Enter on your keyboard and complete the asset details.
Straight Line depreciation must be entered as a number of years.
