Creating a fixed asset in the asset ledger

In MYOB Accountants Office Classic, you may need to create a fixed asset in the asset ledger.

To create a fixed asset

  1. Go to the client's general ledger and click Asset Ledger. The Fixed Assets window appears.

  2. Press F4 on your keyboard, in the New fields, enter the asset number and name.

  3. In New Type, select Asset.

  4. Press Enter on your keyboard and complete the asset details.

    Straight Line depreciation must be entered as a number of years.
