In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Assets (AE Assets) you need to establish the type of transaction to use for integration posting to AE Accounts.
The post type which is shown at the Asset Post Type determines the type of transaction which will be posted from Assets to Accounts.
To perform this task complete the 2 step process:
1. Create a non-cash transaction type
- Open the Accounts ledger and follow the menu path File > Properties > Transaction Types. The Transaction Types screen appears with the cursor in the Name field.
Type the following information in the relevant fields:

- When finished, press the Enter key on the keyboard to close.
2. Establish the posting transaction type
- From within your client's Accounts ledger, follow the menu path File > Properties > General. The General screen appears.
- Press the Enter key 5 times until the cursor is in the Asset Post Type field.
In the Asset Post Type field, type AJ and press the + key. The type AJ is accepted for the Asset Post Type and the Accounts screen appears.
