Error: "The file to be checked in C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\MYOB\Document Manager\... cannot be found"

This support note applies to:

In MYOB Document Manager (DM) the following error "The file to be checked in C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\My Documents\MYOB\Document Manager\... cannot be found" appears when checking in a document.

The following instructions will help you to locate the checked out document.

You must be an Administrator or "SuperUser" to check this area

To locate your document
  1. Follow the menu path Maintenance > Maintenance Maps > Documents > Document Manager Setup > Document Locations.

    Ensure that you note this location.  By default this location is "C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\My Documents\MYOB\Document Manager" however this location can be customised for your practice.

  2. Using Windows Explorer browse to the document location noted in Step 1. The checked out document appears.

If the document is not seen in the Checkout location, it may have a different check out location which may be a shared location on the Server. If you do not know what your checked out location is, please call MYOB Support.
