When saving a document into MYOB Document Manager (DM), you may get the error No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. This means the MYOB Indexing Service isn't running.

To check and restart the MYOB Indexing Service
  1. On the server with the data file store, go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. The Services window appears.

For details about finding your Document Manager File Store server, see Determining your Document Manager File Store in Backing up MYOB Document Manager files.

  2. If the Status column is blank for MYOB Indexing Service, right click MYOB Indexing Service and choose Start. Start appears in the Status column for the MYOB Indexing Service.
