Error: "Can't find code INDEP" when generating Compilation Report in AO Classic

This support note applies to:

• AO Classic General Ledger (AU)

In MYOB Accountants Office (AO) Classic General Ledger version 17.0.4 when generating a 2016 Compilation Report for any entity type you may experience the following error messages:

• "Can't find code INDEP"
• "Can't find code INDEPER"  
• "Can't find code INDREL"

MYOB has addressed this issue in MYOB AO Classic General Ledger, 17.0.5.

Prior to the current release, to resolve this issue update the Description File Maintenance for the entity type experiencing the error(s). For details refer to Updating the Description File Maintenance
