Error: "1705 File access denied"
This support note applies to:
- AO Classic General Ledger (AU)
- AO Classic (NZ)
In MYOB Accountants Office (AO) when opening a workpaper in AO Classic Workpapers you may experience the error 1705 File access denied.
This can occur after installing or updating the CCH software as this installs Add-ins to Microsoft (MS) Excel which are incompatible with the AO Classic Workpapers.
To eliminate this error and successfully open the AO Classic Workpapers, you need to disable the CCH Add-ins in MS Excel.For further information on how to disable the CCH Add-ins or for when updated Add-ins are available, please contact CCH directly.
