Generating one click tax estimate

In MYOB Tax, when you press F4 within a tax return to display a tax estimate, the Tax Estimate Report Options window appears before the tax estimate.  You can choose to bypass the Tax Estimate Report Options window and instead, immediately display the tax estimate. This is referred to as a "One Click Estimate".

To produce an estimate using this method, select the Enable one click estimate option in the Defaults tab of the Control Record Properties window.

To generate a one click tax estimate

  1. Open any tax return for the year that you want to generate a one click tax estimate, from the Utilities menu, select Control Record.

    If the Enter Master Password window appears, type your password and press ENTER. The default password is ASSERT.

  2. Click the Defaults tab. The details of this tab appear.

  3. Select the Enable one click estimate checkbox and click OK. The system is now defaulted to generate a one click tax estimate when you press F4 in a tax return.
