Error: "The selected file x.CSV does not conform to MYOB specifications" when importing Assets data

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) Assets, you may receive the error "The selected file <FileName>.CSV does not conform to MYOB Specifications" when importing data into the asset register.
Prior to importing the file, make sure that the file is in a Comma Separated Variable (CSV) format and row 1 contains the following column headings:
