Error: "Run time error 70: Permission Denied" accessing Reporter in MAS

This support note applies to:

• AE Reporter (NZ)
• AE Reporter (AU)

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Reporter (AE Reporter) you may experience the following error "Run time error 70: Permission Denied" when you double click on the Reporter shortcut from a MAS ledger.

This results in multiple sessions of Reporter being opened.

To successfully launch Reporter from a MAS ledger you need ensure all sessions of Reporter are closed and then single click the Reporter shortcut from a MAS ledger.
