Error: "License key could not be validated. The library was not unlocked"

This support note applies to:

In MYOB Document Manager you may experience the error "License key could not be validated. The library was not unlocked" when importing a PDF document using the Import document Function.

This error occurs when the debenuPDFLibrary.dll file in the CENTRAL shared folder is missing.

To resolve this issue copy the debenuPDFLibrary.dll file from a working computer into the central share.

The Deploy folder on the server is typically located in one of the following locations:

If you use ...Folder location ...
Accountants Enterprise
  • \\<SERVERNAME>\CENTRAL
  • \\<SERVERNAME>\MYOB\MYOBAE\AESQL\Central\Deploy
Accountants Office
  • \<SERVERNAME>\MYOB\MYOBAO\AOSQL\Central\Deploy

 Where <SERVERNAME> is the name of your server.
