Identifying MAS and AST data files

This support note applies to:

  • AE MAS (NZ)
  • AE MAS (AU)

In MYOB Accountants Enteprise (AE) MAS, the data is stored separately into different files for different data types. These files can be found in your S6CLIENT directory or within the client's S6CLIENT folder.

Not sure where your S6CLIENT directory is located?

To find out, open any MAS ledger and from the Help menu, select About. In the Application details, the Database location is the folder where your MAS, AE Assets and AE Reporter data files are stored.

The following tables details what data is contained within each of the MAS or Assets data files:
