Recovering deleted File Notes in Document Manager

This support note applies to:

  • AO Document Manager (AU)

In MYOB Document Manager (DM) if File Notes have been deleted from the system, it is not possible to recover or restore them.

This is because they are not considered documents, they are stored within the database tables and when they are deleted they are not moved to the Recycle Bin.

To recover deleted File Notes in the future, you will need to change the way you create File Notes.  MYOB recommends using Microsoft Word to create File Notes.
