MS Excel files are slow to open in Document Manager after upgrading to version 4.0.7

This support note applies to:

• AO Document Manager (AU)
• AO Document Manager (NZ)
• AE Document Manager (NZ)
• AE Document Manager (AU)

In MYOB Document Manager (DM) version 4.0.7 and above, you may experience that Microsoft (MS) Excel documents that are saved in DM are slow to open after installing the upgrade.

This occurs because when opening the MS Excel spreadsheets DM is inserting a reference number into the footer.  This is a new feature which was released in version 4.0.7 onwards.

MYOB is investigating this issue.
