Including the assignment code and/or name on billing templates

AE Practice Manager (AE PM) allows the assignment code and/or assignment name to be added to billing templates if you use assignment level billing.

To insert a field on a template
  1. In Windows, open the Run window.

  2. In Open, enter the directory of your AE PM templates and click OK. For example, enter c:\Program files\Microsoft Office\Templates\Practice. The Practice screen appears.

  3. Right-click the .dot template. For example, Example Itemised Invoice

  4. Choose Open. The template window appears.

  5. Click the are in the template where you want the assignment code and/or name to appear.

  6. From the Insert Fee Note Header Field drop-down list select Assignment Code and/or Assignment Name. AssignmentCode and/or AssignmentName are displayed on the template.

  7. Make any other required changes.

  8. Go to File > Save.
