After restoring an MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) database, or if you encounter software problems, you may be asked to run a Repair of MYOB AE.

This updates any incorrect or invalid paths and ensures all corrupt or missing files are replaced.

To repair MYOB AE
  1. Log onto your server and locate the installation file for the version of MYOB AE you have most recently installed.

If you cannot locate the installer, you can re-download the file from the my.MYOB Product Downloads page, Australia or New Zealand.
  2. Double-click the file to open the WinZip Self-Extractor and click Unzip.

  3. From the MYOB Accountants Enterprise Installation Wizard, select Repair then click Next. The System Check window opens and the installer does a system check to ensure that your system meets the necessary requirements, and if OK, takes you to the next step, Ready to Repair.
  4. Click Repair. The installer runs through checking and reinstalling all required software and components. This may take between 20 minutes to an 1 hour.
  5. Once the repair has completed, click Finish to close the installer.
