Showing existing associations in Statutory Reporter

This support note applies to:

  • AO Statutory Reporter (AU)
  • AE Statutory Reporter (AU)
Article ID: 37838

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) and Accountants Office (AO) you can create links or associations between clients in your system.  For example, you may have a company and also you may have two of the directors of that company all as clients on your database.  You can link the company with the directors and specify the relationship as being <Person A> is a director of <Company B> and vice versa, <Company B> has director of <Person A>.

If you use this feature in MYOB AE/AO, you can have this information automatically flow through to the Declaration report produced through MYOB AE/AO Statutory Reporter.

To do this, you need to specify which Associated fields to retrieve for the individual entity types in the Statutory Reporter non-transaction data preferences at practice level.

For more details, refer to the following Online Help topics:

Statutory Reporter non-transaction data subsequently automatically retrieves the associated information from the specified fields in the client to use in the Declaration report.
